ENAMORADO FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In touring the bathroom assigned to children in care, LPA observed shampoo with warning "KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN" as wells as numerous loose plastic bags. These items were readily accessible to the children in care. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to submit a written plan regarding how they will assure compliance with the cited section. Plan to be submitted to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 9/17/2025. Please note that items were made inaccessible during the inspection.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In reviewing the children files, LPA did not observe the required consent for emergency medical treatment (LIC 627) on file for child #6. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to obtain a copy of the required form (LIC 627) and submit a copy to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 9/30/2025.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In reviewing the children files, LPA did not observe the required immunization record on file for child #2. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to obtain a copy of the required records and submit a copy to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 9/30/2025.

Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The licensee only had whole milk available for the children and disclosed that 2% milk is also provided. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to purchase the correct milk (1%) and submit proof of purchase to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 9/27/2024.

Based on observation, and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed a Bumbo seat, without a restraint belt, which was recalled in August 2012. Although it was not use at the time of the visit, the licensee disclosed that it is used by a child in care. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee disposed of the Bumbo seat during the inspection. Licensee agrees to submit written plan on how facility will be in compliance with the section cited. Plan to be submitted to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 9/27/2024.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The licensee's current assistant had not completed/renewed the required training. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee will assure that the staff/assistant have the required training completed. Proof of completion to be submitted to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 9/27/2024. Please note that this is a repeat citation/violation and an additional civil penalty of $250.00 is also being issued

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The licensee's current assistant did not have proof of required immunization (MMR/Tdap/flu) on file. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to submit the required records to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 9/27/2024.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The licensee's current assistant did not have record of current tuberculosis clearance on file for review. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to submit the required records to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 10/4/2024.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, a fire drill has not been coducted since 04/2020, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agreed to conduct a fire drill by POC date and send a copy of the log to LPA. Licensee agreed to conduct an emergency drill every six months

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 out of 2 infant files, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to start a sleep log today for infants in care and send the copy of daily checks on POC date to LPA.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to obtain a signed copy of the LIC 627 for each child by POC date and send a copy to the LPA.
