Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as upon arrival LPA observed C1 sleeping in a car seat and LPA verbally confirmed with Licensee's asssitant, S1, that C1 was asleep which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: LPA asked that the child be removed from the car seat and placed in designated sleeping area during the visit to which asssitants complied. Licensee agrees to read the Infant Safe Sleep Regulations and agrees to write a plan of action on how to ensure regulations are followed in the future. Licensee agrees to send proof of the Plan of Correction (POC) to Community Care Licensing (CCL) by the end of the business day on the POC due date of 01/25/2024.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as upon arrival LPA observed that 4 children were sitting in strollers while watching TV which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Children were taken out of strollers during visit. Licensee agrees to read the Personal Rights Regulations and agrees to write a plan of action on how to ensure regulations are followed in the future.
