An unannounced renewal study was conducted today. A total of 83 children were present. All rooms were in ratio with direct care staff. Observed six classrooms, physical space, a sample or child and staff records, medication on-site, nutrition, emergency preparation and training. Background checks for a new Board Officer were reviewed to process the renewal application. The children were observed taking a walk, playing on the playground, creating art projects, and engaging in circle time discussions. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 4/27/2021 and concluded on 4/28/2021. The supervisor was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 52 children present and 13 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 3 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
