A child's record shall contain a written allergy care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction. Child #3 has a diagnosed food allergy without documentation of an allergy care plan on file.
Caregivers shall wash their hands with liquid soap and warm running water after diapering a child. Caregiver 2 did not wash their hands in between three separate diaper changes and after.
Caregivers shall ensure that children's hands are washed with liquid soap and warm running water after toileting or diapering. Three children had their diapers changed and Caregiver 2 did not ensure they washed their hands after diapering.
The diapering surface shall be cleaned and sanitized after each use. Caregiver 2 changed the diapers of three children without cleaning and sanitizing the diaper changing surface after each use.
