An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 10/24/2025 , as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 11:10am and ended at 12:25pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 35 children present and 13 staff. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 3 staff records on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
An unannounced inspection was initiated on 9/18/2025 and completed on 9/18/2025 with a Arlington County Child Care office in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on 9/15/2025 relating to allegations of building maintenance and pest control.This inspection included tour of the facility, interviews, observations. The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation supports the allegation; therefore, the complaint is determined to be valid. Though not a part of the original complaint, violations that were not reported were found related to physical plant and are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 1/23/2025 with Arlington County Child Care in response to a self-report received by the licensing office on 1/13/2025 relating to 63.2 Child Abuse & Neglect. The inspector reviewed 2 children's records and 2 staff records on-site. The inspection included document review, interviews, observations, and a tour of the facility. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Though not a part of the original self report, violations that were not reported were found and are documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 2/25/2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on September 7, 2023, from 10:40am-11:45am. At the time of entrance, 40 children were in care with 8 staff members present. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records. Children were observed walking to the local program. Prior to leaving staff and children checked into the administration and once arrived staff called into the facility to report numbers and safe arrival to the program. Children in the facility were observed sitting in circle, listening to a book, dancing to music. Teachers addressed children with a calm demeanor. An in-person mandated renewal inspection was conducted on March 6, 2023 from 10:45am until 11:25am. There were 36 children in care with 8 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Children and staff were observed participating in an enrichment yoga class. Children and staff were preparing for a walk to the local playground. Prior to the walk, staff would check in with administration and upon arriving to the playground staff would call the administrator to check in. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
