An unannounced inspection was conducted today. Three children were present for twelve pints with one caregiver. Observed two children playing and one infant transitioning from a morning nap. Reviewed physical space, records and immunization updates, nutrition, training for the provider and health records for the provider and household member. Emergency drills and plan are current. All food is bought from home and dated. The provider far exceeds the annual training requirement of 16 hours and already has 10 hours for January 2024. An on-site initial study was conducted. Rooms are set-up with equipment a nd materials, a separate sleeping room and outside play area in the back yard. Provider was previously licensed by the State. No children are currently in care. Provider has been taking classes all winter and has over 25 hours of training.
