An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on April 29, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 9:20am and ended at 11:15am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 38 children present and 5 staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and five staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on July 10, 2024 between the hours of 10:15am and 12:30pm. There were a total of 35 children with 8 staff members supervising. Children were observed during lunch time, engaged in group activities, toileting, handwashing, and outdoor play time. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, children and staff records, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. There were three (3) classrooms observed with a total of 39 children present with 8 staff supervising within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing with various manipulatives, engaged in story time, toileting, handwashing and preparing for lunch. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, evacuation drill logs, medication, required posted documents, first aid kit, and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. A complaint was received in the licensing office on April 13, 2023 regarding the classroom being over-ratio and the classroom being overcrowded. On April 14, 2023 between the hours of 7:50am and 11:15am, an on-site investigation was conducted. Interviews were conducted, attendance sheets and child records were reviewed, and observations were made. A monitoring inspection was conducted on 6/1/2022. 44 children were directly supervised by 8 staff. The physical space, 3 children's records, 2 new staff records, required posted documents, the Emergency Preparedness Plan and injury reports were reviewed. Medications were in compliance. Children were observed eating lunch (pizza, salad, bananas and milk), participating in story time activities, preparing for nap and engaging with the staff. Age appropriate materials were available in all classrooms.
