This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program. A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on April 11, 2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 8:45am and ended at 10:50am. There were 5 staff with 47 children in 4 rooms at the time of the visit. Children were observed engaged in large group activity, handwashing, and playing with various age-appropriate toys and materials. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill logs were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. There were 4 medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
