An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on July 29, 2024 and completed on July 29, 2024,. The on-site inspection began at 8:50am and ended at 10:53am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 40 children present and 8 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 4 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected.

A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on April 11, 2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 8:45am and ended at 10:50am. There were 5 staff with 47 children in 4 rooms at the time of the visit. Children were observed engaged in large group activity, handwashing, and playing with various age-appropriate toys and materials. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill logs were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. There were 4 medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
