During the inspection, it was determined that a medication, albuterol inhaler was within the reach of children in the school age classroom. The medication was stored in a cloth basket on top of a metal shelving unit in the classroom. All medications must be stored out of the reach of children. Create procedures that assure medications will always be inaccessible to children. Provide staff training. Submit the programs corrective action plan, which includes a statement that training was provided, to the Department to verify compliance with the requirements of this rule.
