The following criminal history review and background clearances shall be conducted pursuant to and consistent with the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act in accordance with a schedule developed by the Office for any existing operator, director, employee or volunteer at a child day care center, small day care center, school-age child care program, group family day care home or family day care home, and any person age eighteen (18) or older living in a group family day care home or family day care home:

After completion of required inquiries as provided for in this section and all other criminal history review and background clearances as provided for in section 413.4 of this Title, the Office shall notify the applicant and program whether the applicant is authorized or unauthorized to care for children based on the outcome of such inquiries.

Mid-point requirements for four-year registration holders. At the two-year calendar date in a four year registration cycle, a program must be in compliance with the following mid-point requirements and be able to show proof of compliance to the Office when requested, as follows: proof of compliance with the training requirements of section 414.14;

Each school-age child care program shall require any and all visitors to the facility to: sign in upon entry to the premises;

An applicant or licensee or registrant must submit to OCFS a written request for a waiver on forms provided by OCFS, or approved equivalents. This written application must include: the reason the waiver is necessary; and
