Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In touring the facility, LPA observed a Bumbo seat that had been recalled since 2012. The Bumbo seat was located in an area primarily used for children in care. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee removed the Bumbo seat during the inspection and agreed to submit a written plan as to how the facility will be in compliance in relation to the cited section. Plan to be submitted to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 5/14/2025.
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In reviewing children records, Child #3, did not have a signed LIC 282 affidavit on file. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to have parent/legal guardian sign the form and submit a copy to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 5/27/2025.
