Based on observation, interviews and record review, the facility did not ensure that teachers were qualified to be part of ratio, in 2 of 2 teachers observed in preschool classroom, which poses an immediated health and safety risk to persons in care.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 1 out of 1 water containers which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
To be a fully qualified teacher, a teacher shall have...Twelve post-secondary semester... units in... child growth and development, or human growth and development; child, family and community, or child and family; and program/curriculum. This requirement was not evidenced by; Based on record review of staff files, director did not ensure teacher qualifications for 2 of 2 staff, which poses an immediated health and safety risk to persons in care.
