Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as the kitchen where children's food is stored is in disarray and pet droppings were observed in children's play area, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The Licensee will clean the kitchen of all spoiled food and clear the counters for safe food preparation, clean the living room areas (including cleaning all animal droppings and doing overall clean of the space), and clean the backyard toys/equipment. LPA will return for tour of the FCCH to ensure cleanliness for children in care.
Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as kitchen for preparing food was not clean, living room for care has pet droppings, and backyard area provides dirty play equpipment, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The Licensee will clean all areas of the home used for caring for children and ensure that these areas are maintained in a clean manner, regardless of events happening at the home the day prior. Children should have safe and healthful accommodations while being cared for at the FCCH.
