Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above; The combo carbon monoxide and smoke detector was tested and not functioning. No batteries were in the detector which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee immediately replaced the battery and understands that the detectors must be operable at all times. Deficiency cleared during today's inspection.
Based on record review and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above; Licensee and her assistant (Corina Rocha) do not have the Mandated Reporter Training which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to submit completion of Mandated Reporter Training certificate for herself and assistant/daughter, Cornina Rocha by plan of correction date of 08/23/23. Licensee states she understands that the course is to be completed on or before August 23, 2023.
