Resolution: Licensee will email LPA a written decleration of understanding of 102417(g)(9)(A) and the requirement of documenting the drills for audit. Licensee will additionally email LPA a fire drill log and documentation of drill being conducted.

Based on observation, iinterview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in two of three infants observed during nap time. Two of three infants utilized a sleep sack during naptime, without a medical exemption on file. C1 and C3 were both observed in a sleep sack,C1 was napping and C3 was awake. Which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee will email LPA either verification of a medical exemption for Child 1 and/or child 3 authorizing the appropriate use of a sleep sack or a written decleration of understanding, that sleep sacks are not permitted in licensed facilities without a medical exemption.
