JONES, BETTYE FAMILY CHILD CARE HOME

Based on records reviewed at 01:04pm which revealed licensee was missing AB 1207 Mandated Reporter Training certificate. The licensee did not comply with the section cited for several staff which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee stated she would ensure to complete the online AB 1207 Mandated Reported training module at mandatedreporterca.com, and intends to submit current certificate to the Derpartment by 11/17/2023, via mail,email LPA cindy.castro@dss.ca.gov or fax (707)588-5099.

Based on observation, Licensing Program Analyst observed 9 children during inspection without an assistant being present at facility.The licensee did not comply with the section cite above which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee stated that she would talk with parents and have some children come part-time to her program until she finds an assistant so that she is within ratio at all times starting 11/09/23. Licensee stated that she is currently working on hiring an assitant by 12/08/2023. Licensee will provide proof to department by mail, fax, or email of a schedule of when each child enrolled attends care with days and times to verify that she is always within ratio. Once Licensee hires an assistant she will also provide documentation to the department.
