Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision. The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time... Supervision shall include visual observation. This requirement was not being met as evidenced by: On 3/21/24, at approximately 12:28PM, LPA observed 2 children in the bathroom while staff supervised 10 napping children in the classroom. LPA observed 7 napping children in class room 2, unsupervised, while staff walked over to the ktichen area. This poses an immediate health, safety, and personal rights risk to children in care.

Buildings and Grounds (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. This requierment was not being met as by: Classroom 2 was observed 4 large screws protruding from the wall near two children’s crib. Cribs are not currently being used by children. LPA observed 7 children napping in cots in the same classroom.
