Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above LPA observed poisons, cleaning solutions and medicines in an unlock medicine cabinet and unlock cabinet underneath the bathroom sink, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: During the visit Licensee placed a safety cabinet slide lock on the unlocked sink cabinet and made sure the child safety strap was locked on the medicine cabinet above the sink. Licensee shall ensure that all toxins and chemicals are made inaccessible to children in care at all times.
