Modified diets prescribed by a child’s physician as a medical necessity shall be provided. A child shall not be served any food to which the child’s record indicates he/she has an allergy. Based on interviews, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in one child was served egg products in care, which posed an immediate health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care.
