Resolution: Licensee will purchase the life ring that meets the above stated standards and show proof of purchase to LPA Garcia via email.

Resolution: Licensee will purchase the rescue pole that meets the above stated standards and show proof of purchase to LPA Garcia via email.

Resolution: Licensee will purchase a pool alarm that meets ASTM International Standard F2208 and log each day that it is functioning. Licensee will show proof of purchase to LPA Garcia.

Based on observation, interview, record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Per licensee she was unaware that the log was to be completed for children under 12 months of age, although she had been informed by previous LPA and was documented.

Resolution: Licensee will have the sleep plan filled completely and begin implemation immediately.

The LPA inspected the swimming pool fence and observed the gate not self-closing and self-latching. This is a Type A violation and it poses an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care. An immediate civil penalty of $500 is assessed.

Resolution: The Licensee shall ensure the swimming pool gate self-closes and self-latches to render it inaccessible to children in care. The license stated that she will repair the swimming pool gate to ensure the gate self-closes and self-latches no later than 04/05/24 and will ensure children do not have access to the backyard.

Licensee stated that attempts had been made to conduct the appointment however has been unsuccessful.

Resolution: Licensee will provide a copy of vaccination records as soon as they are given from the clinic.

Based on observation, interview and (record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above Child Care Mandated Reporter Training (AB1207) expired 3/17/2020 in which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee and Assistant will take the on line Mandated Reporter training (AB1207) on line at www.mandatedreporterca.com and submit a copy to the Palmdale Regional Office by email or text by due date.
