Upon arrival, LPA observed a napping infant in the swing in the living room covered with a blanket. Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to move the infant to a crib or play yard as soon as possible when and if the infant falls asleep in the swing.
During the inspection, LPA observed one (1) 15-minute infant napping log for the infant 24 months and under not completed correctly. Licensee stated that she did not check and complete the 15-minute napping log between January 3rd and January 19th, 2025. Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to supervise infants while they are sleeping and physically check on the infant every 15 minutes. Licensee also agrees to complete the 15-minute infant napping log correctly and completely.
During today's inspection, LPA observed no copy of LIC9227 Individual Infant Sleeping Plan, for infants under 12 months in the infant’s file.. Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to complete LIC9227--Individual Infant Sleeping Plan and placed a copy of LIC9227--Individual Infant Sleeping Plan in the child's file.
