LEE FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on observation, interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in there were cleaning supplies in the tub/shower for the children's bathroom that were accessible and children were observed going to the restroom unsupervised, the medication cabinet was not locked the safety latch was broken, and the kitchen was not gated and there were sharp knives on a magnetic board near the sink that was accessible to the children in care which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: I will put the cleaning supplies in the locked closet, the medicines will be removed until the latch can be fixed, and knives we will add the gate to the kitchen area and provide proof to Licensing.

Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in the Licensee did not have immunization records for measles during inspection which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: I will make an appointment with Kaiser to provide proof.
