Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that AB1207 Mandated Reporter training certification for licensee's assistant expired on 12/4/2024, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee stated that she will ensure that Assistant Itzel Martinez completes the mandated reporter training and provide proof to the SDRO no later than 3/7/2025.
Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by not having the pool completely surrounded by a fence which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee stated she will be reinstalling the portion of the 5 ft fence with a gate that swings away from the pool that is self closing and self latching that was removed last month. Licensee also stated she will insure and not be allowing children out in the play area which is also where the pool area is located. Licensee will send proof of correction via picture to the Licensing office by 09/05/24.
