During the tour of the home, LPAs observed infant sleeping in a baby bouncer with a blanket covering the infant body. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee stated she will purchase more pack n plays and will place infant to sleep on their back in pack n plays and not baby bouncer and submit a written declaration to to jennifer.patel@dss.ca.gov
Based on staff record review which revealed L1 and S2 did not have a current AB1207 mandated reporter training. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee stated that L1 and S2 will complete the mandated reporter training (MRT) by the POC due date and submit a copy of the MRT certificates to jennifer.patel@dss.ca.gov.
