SAUCIER FCC AKA PRECIOUS JEWELS DAYCARE

Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, carbon monoxide detector was found to not be working. Batteries were replaced, but carbon monoxide detector was still not working, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee Phyllis Saucier plans to purchase a new carbon monoxide detector when purchasing a new fire extinguisher. A picture of the new carbon monoxide detector will be taken and send to LPA and a video of working detector will also be sent.

Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. At 10:29 expired tylenols and medication were found in a drawer with no child safety lock located in the napping room. At 10:35 Knives and sharp cutting kitchen objects were found in an unlocked drawer in the kitchen counter with no child safey lock. objects which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee Phyllis Saucier threw away all medication that were located in the napping room drawer.; Licensee put the knives and sharp cutting kitchen objects at a cabinet above 5 feet on top of where microwave is located.
