Resolution: Licensee is to have all accessible areas of the home cleaned and decluttered.

Based on LPA observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed spiderwebs, dog feces, loose, damaged and broken fence panels, peeling paint on patio table, peeling seat cushions on patio chairs, and collected water pooled in the backyard which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee is to remove spider webs and dog feces. Licensee is to ensure the fence is secured and repaired. Licensee is to repair or remove the patio table and chairs. Licensee is to ensure that excess water from outdoor sprinklers is drained.

Based on LPA observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed a gas tank, lawn mower, knife, and fence panels with exposed nails in the backyard. LPA also observed tools, nail polish, batteries, and a lighter inside drawers in the kitchen. LPA observed off limits closets accessible to children. These conditions pose a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee is to remove the gas tank, lawn mower, knife, tools, nail polish, batteries, lighter, and any other potentially hazardous items from the home or move them to an inaccessible area of the home. Licensee is to ensure fence is secured and repaired. Licensee is to ensure all off limits areas of the home are made inaccessible by door locks, gates, or doorknob spinners.

Licensee is to submit proof to the Department that the adult child submitted fingerprints, and Licensee is to provide the Department proof of approved eligible criminal background clearance for the adult child.

Resolution: Licensee completed a fire and disaster drill during today's inspection. Thereafter, she logged the drill and re-posted the log to her parent's board. Additionally, licensee watched Community Care Licensing Video titled "Disaster Planning and Fire Safety." Lastly, Licensee stated that she will implement a system to remind her to complete a fire and disaster drill at least once every six months. Deficiency cleared during inspection.

Resolution: Licensee stated that Staff #2 will complete an EMSA approved children's pediatric CPR and first aid course, and send proof of completion to the Fresno CCL office by 4/14/2023.

Resolution: Licensee stated that children will not utilize and/or occupy the day-care room until adequate flooring is installed. During today's inspection, licensee placed a baby gate in her hallway, thereby restricting access to the day-care room. Indoor play will take place in the licensee's living room. Licensee stated that she will contact licensing once she is ready to utilize the day-care room again (upon flooring installation). Deficiency cleared during inspection.

Based on record review the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, as she was unable to provide proof of a documented fire and disaster drill today. This poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee stated that she will conduct and document a fire & disaster drill, and submit a copy of the log to the Fresno Community Care Licensing office by 4/29/2022. Licensee stated that going forward, she will post her fire and disaster drill log onto her Parents' Board to serve as a visual reminder of when the last drill was done.

Resolution: Licensee stated she will remove the rake, shovel, and gardening equipment by 4/29/2022. Until such time, the backyard is to be deemed an off limit area of the premises. Licensee stated that she will submit proof of correction photos to the Fresno Community Care Licensing Office by 4/29/2022.
