(a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors.
(1) Except as specified in (3) below, good physical health shall be verified by a health screening, including a test for tuberculosis, performed by or under the supervision of a physician not more than one year prior to or seven days after employment or licensure.
(2) Each person specified in (g) above shall have a health-screening report signed by the person performing the screening. This report shall indicate the following:

(g) Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where inaccessible to children.

(g) Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where inaccessible to children.
(2) Each person specified in (g) above shall have a health-screening report signed by the person performing the screening. This report shall indicate the following:
(a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors.

(b) A crib or portable -crib meeting United States Consumer Product Safety Commission safety standards shall be provided for each infant who is unable to climb out of a crib. (1) Mattresses shall be firm and covered with a fitted sheet that is appropriate to the mattress size, fits tightly on the mattress, and overlaps the underside of the mattress so it cannot be dislodged.

(o) Playground equipment shall be securely anchored to the ground unless it is portable by design. (1) Equipment shall be maintained in a safe condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts.

(1) A licensed child day care center, as defined in Section 1596.76, that is located in a building that was constructed before January 1, 2010, shall have its drinking water tested for lead contamination levels on or after January 1, 2020, but no later than January 1, 2023, and every five years after the date of the initial test.
(o) Playground equipment shall be securely anchored to the ground unless it is portable by design. (1) Equipment shall be maintained in a safe condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts.

Based on observation and record review that Licensee did not comply with regulation above as seven children were left alone in the care of staff 1 and staff 2 who are not qualified teachers which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care.
