Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in hot tub or jacuzzi located in the backyard of the home does not contain a locking mechanism making the hot tub accessible to children in care which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee to secure hot tub/ jacuzzi with a locking mechanism to ensure it is inaccessible to children in care. Proof of inaccessibly can be emailed to LPA at elizabeth.george@dss.ca.gov no later than January 20, 2026.
