Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in one out of five staff. Staff 2 (S2) was observed working in the role of teacher with 9 children outdoors without another staff present and did not have documentation of Early Childhood Education/Child Development units on file which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in one out of eight staff present during today's inspection. S1 did not have a criminal record clearance and association to the facility through Community Care Licensing requirements which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

On 02/29/24, licensee failed to maintain a lead value at or below the Action Level for water lead testing resulting with values of 5.5 ppb or greater for Faucet “D” – Sink Faucet, in Seedlings Classroom, with a result of 6.2 ppb. Water testing results identified with Action Level Exceedance as defined in WD section 101700.3. are not deemed safe to drink. This is a potential health and safety risk to children in care.
