Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in areas around and under high climbing equipment or other similar equipment that was observed without cushioned material that absorbs falls, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Based on interviews conducted, on more than one occasion staff threaten to discipline or did discipline children with “thinking time” or a call to parents if children were not quiet for the 2-hour nap period and in some cases called parents to pick up their children for not sleeping or staying quiet for the 2-hour nap period. This poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.
