Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that LPA observed a kitchen knife left unattended on the kitchen countertop, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will submit a written statement to the Department (seena.parsapour@dss.ca.gov) explaining how she plans on ensuring compliance with this regulation moving forward. During today's inspection, LPA observed licensee relocating the knife to an inaccessible area.
Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that the 15 minute sleep check logs for Child #03 (C3) were found to be incomplete, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will submit a written statement to the Department (seena.parsapour@dss.ca.gov) explaining how she plans on ensuring compliance with this regulation moving forward.
