Based on observation and interview the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, upon LPA's arrival licensee was leaving out of town for 2 days, and designated the two (2) assistants to care for children. which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. The Licensee stated that it is a last-minute out-of-town trip, which provided too short of a notice for parents to arrange alternate care; however, the facility remained open with two designated assistants who met all personnel requirements, including Criminal Record Clearance.
Resolution: Licensee shall submit a written plan detailing how they will ensure presence at the daycare for at least 80% of operating hours. The Plan of Correction (POC) letter shall be submitted to Community Care Licensing (CCL) no later than 10/31/2025.
