Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that 3 bottles of cleaning products were observed in a lower unlocked kitchen cabinet, whereas lock was inoperable which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care. LPA observed a bottle of Clorox bleach, a bottle of dish soap, and a bottle of cleaning spray accessible to children in care.

Resolution: Licensee immediately removed the items to a secure location during the inspection.

Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 out of 3 staff records missing mandated reporter training certifications which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care. Licensee and 1 addtional staff mandated reporter certicates expired on 4/5/2025. Licensee stated they renewed them recently, however, Licensee wasn't able to produce new certificates for verification.

Resolution: Licensee to correct deficiency and submit copies of valid mandated reporter certificates to Licensing Program Analyst Bill Billones via email at bill.billones@dss.ca.gov no later than 10/27/2025.

Licensee to submit summary report to LPA Billones via email at bill.billones@dss.ca.gov no later than 10/27/2025.
