Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee does not have the life ring with a minimum exterior diameter of 17 inches, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee will submit a photo of life ring and copy of the receipt by the POC date. Licensee has ordered the Life ring and it will arrive on 3/14/25.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, the fence obscures the pool from view and the gate does not self-latch properly, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee will place a fence that does not obscure the pool from view, and repair/fix the gates self-latching device by the POC date.

Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above,Licensee does not have a rescue pole with a body hook and a minimum fixed length of 12 feet, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee will submit photo of the rescue pole with a body hook and copy of receipt by the POC date. Licensee has ordered the pole/hook and it will arrive on 4/2/25.

Based on observation, interview, record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee does not have a log showing proof that she is conducting daily inspections of the drowning prevention safety features and safety equipment before opening the faciilty, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee will submit a plan to ensure that she will be conducting daily inspections of the drowning prevention safety features and safety equipment before opening the facility.
