Facility license has been on Inactive Status since 1/30/2023 and Licensee is requesting to reactivate the license. Facility has been operating at the Rancho San Ramon Community Park Center at 1998 Rancho Park Loop, San Ramon, CA 94582 due to construction at the current building. Facility will be reopening on Monday 8/14/2023. There were no children present during LPA's visit and the facility will be operating from 9:00am - 1:00pm, Monday - Friday. The facility will be operating inside the Dougherty Station Community Center in room 102 and use the Ridgeview Room as an activity space. LPA toured the facility for a health and safety inspection. The facility has age appropriate materials in the classroom that are observed to be clean and in good condition. All toxins, cleaning products and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. The children's sink and toilet are observed to be clean and in proper working order. LPA did not observe any harmful or unattended bodies of water in or around the facility. Children will bring their lunch and snacks from home. The food prep area is clean and free from defects. All children have access to clean drinking water in the classroom. There are smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers throughout the building. There is a first aid kit on site as well. Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
