Based on observations, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPAs observed a knife and two adult scissors in the kitchen drawer accessible to children. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Jorgina immediately placed the items in the upper cabinet inaccessible to children. Deficiency corrected during the inspection.
Based on LPA's observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by having 13 children present in the home: 2 infants and 11 preschool age which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. One of the children just started on 06/03/24 and the child's parent came to pick up the child during the inspection.
Resolution: Licensee states she will submit a written plan by 06/06/24 to ensure that the required ratio and capacity are maintained at all times.
