Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above because the crib sheet used for one infant (C1) was not appropriately sized for the mattress, did not fit tightly, and was dislodged, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee to replace the crib sheet by the POC due date with one that is appropriately sized for the mattress, fits tightly, and overlaps the underside of the mattress to prevent it from becoming dislodged. Licensee to submit a picutre of crib with the new sheet inside by the POC due date.

Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above because the licensee stated that she used living room 2, which is not approved by the fire department for daycare use which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: The licensee to submit a plan of correction by the POC due date to ensure that the room not approved by the fire department will not be used.
