BARAJAS FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on LPA Sanchez observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 1 out of 1 children, Child #1 did not have proof of a thorough 15 minute sleep log with all necessary information, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: LPA Sanchez discussed the Safe Sleep regulations with licensee and advised of the required information that needs to be documented for each infant. Licensee will forward a copy of the sleep log for C1 starting today and up until the plan of correction date of 07/26/23.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 items containing warning labels-keep out of reach of children were accessible to children. Vapor rub was located in a lower kitchen draw and a bottle of hand washing soap located in the children restroom which posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee corrected during visit and relocated the items area inaccessible to the children.
