Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Mrs. Sandoval stated that she has not conducted a fire drill since 2021. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Mrs. Sandoval stated that she will conduct a fire drill with the one child in care. Mrs. Sandoval shall submit a copy of the fire drill log to the department no later than 3/16/2023.
Based on interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. She stated that she was not aware of the new safe sleep law. She stated that she conducts check on infants when they sleep however she does not maintain the logs in written form. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: LPA provided a copy of infant nap log. Mrs. Sandoval shall start maintaining a nap log beginning today. Mrs. Sandoval shall submit a copy of infant's nap log (a week's worth) to the department no later than 3/16/2023.
