PIERRE, MARGARETTE FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on analyst record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as she did not maintain a disaster drill log as required which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care.

Resolution: Licensee was provided a blank disaster drill log and states she will conduct a current fire and earthquake, enter it on the log sheet and send analyst a completed copy of the log showing that both drills have been conducted by 02/23/26 to correct the deficiency. License also understands she will continue to conduct and document both drills every six months going forward.

Based on analyst record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as licensee is not maintaining safe sleep records for the only infant che has in care, (child #1), which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to the infant in care.

Resolution: Analyst provided licensee with a blank copy of a safe sleep log and licensee states she will document the infant in care's naps beginning tomorrow, 02/10/26, through 02/13/26 and continue to monitor and documenting her naps going and then send analyst a copy of the log through the 02/09/26-02/13/26 period by 02/16/26 to correct the deficiency.

Based on analyst record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as she did not have complete record files for all the children she has in care which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to them.

Resolution: Licensee was missing consent for emergency medical treatment, parent notification, affidavit regarding liablity insurance and notification of parents' rights forms for all children in care. Analyst provided licensee with blank copies of the forms. Licensee states that she will have all the parents complete the missing forms and send analyst copies of the completed records from two children of her choice by 02/23/26 to correct the deficiency.

Based on analyst record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as she did not have a complete roster on file which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care.

Resolution: Licensee was provided a blank roster and states she will complete it in full with all the required information of all the children enrolled in her facility and send a copy to analyst by 02/16/26 to correct the deficiency.
