Based on LPA observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 1 out of 1 gallon of bleach under the kitchen sink accessable to children in care] which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The Licensee removed the item and placed on high surface inaccessable to children in care. Noted: The children in care were infants who cannot reach the door handle to the kitchen however the kitchen is not an off-limit area.
Based on LPA observation and documentation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 out of 2 loose thin blankets inside the play yards of two sleeping infants. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The blankets were removed and infant safe sleep protocol was reviewed with the LIcensee and assistant. Although the Licensee had made blankets tightly fitted as sheets for the infants sleeping the Licensee was reminded that the tight fitted sheet made specifically for play yard mats must be the sheet utilized as well.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 1 out of 1 adult pair of socks] which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The socks were removed in the LPA's presence.
Based on record review and observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 sleeping infants who were 12-24 months old which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The Licensee will begin documenting for all infants 0-24 months at the next sleep/nap session. LPA reviewed infant safe sleep protocol.
