Buildings and Grounds 101238(g)/ Type A While touring the facility the LPA observed cleaning supplies accessible to the children underneath the small sink where children wash their hands. The cabinets were unlocked, and the toxins (Clorox hydrogen peroxide wipes, and microban) were present. LPA Macias explained that all cleaning supplies must be securely stored and inaccessible to the children.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above for indoor area smoke detector in classroom #103 was not operating and outside area has a tree near the playground structure that has a root sticking out of ground and is a tripping hazard and worn out/uneven rubber tiles near playground that are a tripping hazard, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Based on information obtained, the exclusion of the child from the daycare pending the conclusion of the investigation constitutes retaliation for filing a complaint. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of children in care.

After water lead testing was completed, the facility had one faucet (C) (sink/drinking fountain) located in preschool classroom with an Action Level Exceedance of 10, which poses a potential risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of children in care.
