Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by having chemicals accessible to children under bathroom sink which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: During inspection, Licensee's husband removed chemicals from under sink. Deficiency is cleared during time of inspection.
Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by having section of pool fence down which prevented fence from meeting Title 22 requirements which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: During inspection, Lincensee's husband returned section of fence to operable status, bringing fence back into Title 22 regulations. Deficiency is cleared during time of inspection.
Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by not having mandated reporter certificates for either adult which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee and Husband will complete mandated reporter training and send certificates to LPA Schwartz via email by 3 August 24.

Resolution: Licensee and Husband will complete CPR/First Aid training and send completed certificates to LPA Schwartz via email by 3 August 24.
Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by not having children's immunization records which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will obtain vaccination records for all children in care. Licensee will email LPA Schwartz proof of vaccinations for children in care by 3 August 24.
Based on record review and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in her and her husband did not have a Mandated Reporter certificate which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee shall submit to LPA a certificate showing that her and Dale have completed the Mandated Reporter training which can be taken online at www.mandatedreporterca.com. This shall be corrected by 10/14/22
Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above when she could not find a first aid/CPR certificate for her or her husband which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee and husband/assistant Dale shall submit current first aid/CPR cards to LPA to clear the deficiency cited. This shall be done by 10/14/22.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above when LPA LPA observed 2 bottles of lighter fluid and a bag of charcoal in the backyard accessible to children. LPA observed the bathroom cabinet contained items stating keep out of reach of children and the safety locks were broken and not working so items were accessible to children. which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: LPA shall make a return visit to verify corrections have been made.
Based on record review the licensee did not comply with the section cited above when two out of two infnants under 12 months did not have a sleep plan on filed which oses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee shall submit proof that all infants in care under 12 months old have a sleep plan on file.
Based on record review the licensee did not comply with the section cited above when she did not have files for at least 6 children which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee shall obtain files for all children in care. LPA shall make a return visit to verify correciton is made.
Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above when a 6 month old was sleeping in a play yard containing a blanket and stuffed toys which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: LPA shall make a return visit to verify corrections have been made.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above when LPA observed 15 children in care and licensee is licensed for 14 children. which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Two children left around 3pm bringing the census down to 13 children. LPA will make a return visit to ensure ratio and capacity are being followed.
Based on observation, licensee did not comply with the section cited above when LPA observed a baby excersaucer in the playroom (no child using the it) and poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: licensee states she was unaware that exersaucers are not allowed in child care homes. She states she will remove it from her home. LPA will make a return visit to verify correction.
Based on interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in two infant were in care and licensee was not documenting sleep checks which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee states she is checking the infants every 15 minutes however it could not be verified. licensee shall keep a sleep log for each infant in care (under two years old) which documents the infants are being checked every 15 min. Licensee shall submit a completed sleep log to clear the deficiency.
