Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above due to having a above-ground pool that was not fenced nor had the appropriate covering. Which poses an immediate health, and safety risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The Licensee stated that she will remove the pool. LPA Barragan will be out here within 10-Days to ensure that the pool is removed.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Licensee did not ensure to keep insect poison locked away. Licensee had it on a shelf in the hallway closet. Licensee explained she thought it just needed to be out of the reach of children.
Resolution: LPA observed licensee place the poison in a shed behind locked doors with a padlock. POC was corrected today.
Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Licensee did not ensure to conduct a fire drill with the children within the last six months.
Resolution: Licensee stated she would conduct a fire drill with the children and send a photo of the fire drill log, and of a photo of the children during the fire drill.
Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will provide with a current EMSA approved pediatric CPR/First Aid by POC due date. Licensee explained she is signed up to take the course on 12/09/21.
