ROJAS FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on LPA Susan Brewer's observation at 9:29 AM during today's inspection, the licensee Stephanie Rojas did not comply with the section cited above and failed to lock ammunition separately from a firearm, by storing the ammunition in an unclocked drawer within an unclocked room, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: The licensee Stephanie Rojas, agrees to store and lock ammunition, separately from firearmss, making the ammunition inaccessible to daycare children. The licensee will submit a statement of understanding regarding this regulation and submit to the department on or before the close of business day, 06/05/2023.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in the licensee failed to maintain a infant sleep log for a infant child under the age of 2, present and in care, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: The licensee Stephanie Rojas, agrees to create a infant safe sleep log to document 15 minute checks for the infant child present and other infant children enrolled at the facility. In addition the licensee agrees to submit proof of the logs to the department along with a statement of understanding, the Infant Safe Sleep regulation on or before the close of business day, 06/07/2023.
