RUSSELL, HILA FAMILY DAY CARE

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 4 of 4 infants in care not having 15 minute safe sleep checks which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: By 01/09/25 Licensee will send copy of one weeks worth of 15 minute checks for all infants in care to LPA Sims by 1/09/25 via email to sydney.sims@dss.ca.gov

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by operating over the capacity specified on the license which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee and staff will review the CCL capacity video provided by LPA Sims and write statement that Licensee and staff agree to comply with the capacity requirements

Based on record review , the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 1 out of 1 persons which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Specifically, assistant is not cleared in guardian.

Resolution: Licensee immediately called parents to pick children up to bring her into a small facility ratio of 8 children. Assistant was sent home and will be refingerprinted today, 3/30/23. Licensee will not have assistant back until fingerprints have cleared through all required background checks. Licensee understands she may not leave day care children in the care of an uncleared adult. Licensee will review the requirements for having an assistant work in my day care before they assist with child care.
