At 11:01 a.m. the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising 9 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are 2 bedrooms, garage, patio, and fenced pool area and were made inaccessible by baby gates and iron fencing and latches. The children use the back yard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. The pool is fully fenced with iron fencing and gate with a latch. 5 children's records were reviewed at 11:16 a.m. 2 staff records were reviewed at 11:31 a.m. There are currently 2 adults living in the home. The following deficiencies were cited: expired: Mandated Reporting Training certificates. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
