Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA Ocegueda observed that infant #4 (who is over age 12 months) was sleeping with a blanket inside a crib. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Today, Licensee immediately removed the blanket from the infant and when she placed infant #4 back in the crib, there were no lose objects. Licensee stated she understood that there should be no blankets, toys or other lose items inside the crib while infants are sleeping. LPA reviewed safe sleep regulations with licensee today. Deficiency cleared.
