Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In an accessible kitchen bottom cabinet, LPA observed multiple cleaning products including Ajax brand cleaning powder, 409 brand disinfectant spray, Clorox brand wipes and other unlabeled spray bottles with liquid inside. This which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Today, licensee removed the cleaning products and placed them in a tub, moving them to an inaccessible part of her yard. Licensee stated that if she brought the products back inside, she would be placing child safety locks on any cabinet/drawer storing potential hazardous items. Deficiency cleared today.
Based on record review the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. S2 did not have proof of Mandated Reporter Training (General or Child Care Specific). This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee stated that she would have S2 complete the Mandated Reporter Training and submit proof to the Department by POC date 9/30/2022.
