Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. On 9/24/2022, LPA Ocegueda observed several cleaning products/liquids under the unlocked/accessible kitchen sink. There was also insect spray in the yard. There were no children in care today. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Today, there was no children present. Licensee removed the cleaning supplies and placed them in inaccessible rooms. Licensee placed the poison in a locked shed. LPA reviewed the regulation stated above. Deficiency cleared today.
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee could not provide proof of current required Mandated Reporter Training. This poses a potential health, safety and/or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: LPA Ocegueda provided licensee with written resources on how to complete the required Mandated Reporter Training. Proof of completion of the General and Child Care Specific training will be submitted to the Department by POC date 10/21/2022.
